LOUP DE MER
Despite its length of just a bit over 100 metres, we’d like to call ‘Loup De Mer’ the sporty coupe amongst the super yacht. Yes, there’s a sizeable pool, a beach club with easy access to the bathing platform, a well sorted tender garage and what would be considered ample space for the owner and up to 12 guests. There’s even a proper helicopter pad! But ultimately, with her low and powerful profile, ‘Loup De Mer’ really is designed as a fast and efficient elegant head-turner.

Some yachts these days look like done by property developers, trying to put as many square metres as possible into a given length. But yachts are, after all, luxury items, no? So, you can, but you don’t have to.

Plus, a long slender hull without a huge superstructure on top isn’t just more efficient but also much more comfortable, even when the sea’s a bit rougher. So, you can travel further, be friendlier to the environment and enjoy it more. That does sound like a win-win to us.

So, what’s next? At the moment the interior is still under wraps and all we can say is that coquine![design] is collaborating with someone who definitely knows a thing or two about timeless elegance and giving the interior a welcoming feel-good factor. And for the engineering the future client would have a few options available, depending on his preferences in terms of performance.
